@rickylee41: Not yet Ricky. Stuck with me at the moment.
@@Corn_Huskers: I prefer you call me MR. Brian, but I guess Brian is fine for this format. I haven't heard anything on that, but it's definitely something to ask today. Are there any other possible additions going forward? Riley is usually pretty straightforward in laying out stuff like that.
@FargoHusker: No. Good place to check out?
@JimmyTheGreek: I don't see that yet.
@Trashman: I hear ya and agree with ya. O-line and QB. You can figure out the rest.
@jimfromchina: They will put out their official list of preferred walk-ons today. We will have a story on that later.
@@Corn_Huskers: If fans present a good question to me, that's reasonable, and not just, 'Why haven't you fired this guy?' I always like to take those and bring them to the coaches and players. So yes.
Now, there's like 30 people at press conferences now, though some are there just to be there it seems like. So it's not always easy in these particular settings to get all the extra questions in. Because I might only get two or three today.
@TO: I dunno, TO. I can see why the people are giving him a shot. Some might argue he's the best recruit in this entire class. And I know Trent Bray told him the opportunity was there. Now, you bring up a good point about why it might not happen for him right away. But I think it was clear in the bowl game NU needs to keep upgrading its talent at that second level, so even those more experienced guys who have played shouldn't go into this spring thinking they've got a spot locked up.
@Blaze: My guess , and this is a real guess at this point, is Chris Weber. The reason is I think he's a pretty good football player who probably wasn't used enough last year. The other reason is he's a veteran guy and is very smart, and Diaco's defenses need that guy in the middle to be in complete command. So that's my pick.
@rickylee41: Ricky, Ricky. Are you mocking the process? I dunno what to make of this. Unless you are talking about that one Guy, as in Guy Thomas, you'll need to get more specific.
@Luke: You know doughnuts, sir. Head nod to you.
@rickylee41: I will pass it on and he will eat up that information.
@@Corn_Huskers: It's cherry filling.
@@Corn_Huskers: I don't know. Fax machines might be tough for football people to give up. We still like to talk about guys hanging out in the "film room."
@FargoHusker: I haven't been yet, but we do drive through Fargo on our way to the cabin. Surprised I haven't noticed it before.
@HuskerfromIllinois: As long as duty requires. I expect it to slow down from about 11 to 2, and the people to pick up interest again.
@rickylee41: I get that way of looking at it. I never tell any fan to get riled up about recruiting if they aren't. I'll be honest, if it wasn't my job, I wouldn't pay as much attention to it as some fans do, that's for sure. But I respect those who make it a big part of their lives too. A few perhaps do it to unhealthy levels, but to each his own, I guess.
@nenut: Been reported he signed. We'll wait for official confirmation but I don't think he's a worry.
@rickylee41: Thanks for popping in Ricky.
