@HuskerfromIllinois: That's Busta, good sir. Busta.
@CDS: You know, I'm keeping an eye on that one myself.
@Clinton: Ha. We just might see his dad around here a little this fall. I agree on your first part, too. I think the staff saw some Jano in him. That doesn't mean he's going to be Jano. But I think they saw those traits.
@HuskerfromIllinois: I'm OK with it, since there are always a bunch of guys already stacked up by December. I just don't see a lot of recruits waiting past that point. That will become THE Day. Bigger to me is the appearance that they are going to move up official visits. It was ludicrous to me that kids couldn't take officials in the spring or early summer months. That should be useful to Nebraska as well.
@Trashman: The boys who came up with Hudl are about my age, and I know one of them a little bit. Great, humble guy. What an idea.
@HuskerfromIllinois: Durkin was a good hire there. Don't know that anyone will be able to break through at that school loaded up against that East Division. But I can see his recruiting appeal.
@jimfromchina: He's going to take over the second shift at some point. He's not as fast at typing though so hang with him.
@Blaze: Yeah, you always have to factor that in. I get why the quantity matters, because the more bodies you have, the more opportunities to hit big. But you sometimes have to take a deeper look at the quality. Pelini's first year, he loaded up with a class of 28 and everyone got all excited. Well, the truth is, looking back on it, he reached on way too many late. Should have kept it smaller.
@Trashman: Might be able to do that. :) Going to have to sing the alphabet in my head though.
@Blaze: Yeah, I don't think it should just be pushed to the side, which some will, if he chooses another. That's a NSD blow that must be recognized. I'm sure Parrella's final push to him included what you are saying right there. Basically, you fit now more than ever in what we're doing. Come be a part of it. We'll see. I think other people have been in his ear, too.
@jimfromchina: You give the extra couple schollies to walk-on seniors this year then keep them in pocket for next year's class, which is at the moment not set to be great in size due to the small class of seniors.
@TO: I think Thomas, actually. Porcher may be a really, really good player. And I might have said Porcher in Banker's defense. But I agree with the idea Guy Thomas fits what Diaco is trying to do well.
@Redrealist: Why didn't you tell me you knew Lamar Jackson?
