@StarCityRyan: I don't expect him to sign with Nebraska, I know that.
@@Corn_Huskers: Phone calls. Most interesting was talking with Guy Thomas' coach, Tim Harris. That one really did go down to the final minute. Decision wasn't made until this morning. Talk about stress on an assistant coach. Think of how many hours Parrella puts in on that. Hours and miles. And you just don't know what an 18-year-old is going to do until the final gun.
@CDS: I'm going to be in and out. This is kind of the intermission of the chat as we wait for the West Coast drama to pick up.
@HuskerfromIllinois: He's a good player. Every young guy handles it differently. Some better than others. I think Nebraska fans would be delighted if he were on their side.
@Benchwarmer: That's a good point and fair warning for how it's probably going to end up.
Jeremiah Hawkins sticks with Cal.
@JamesWilson: Yes, could happen, and no matter how you spin it, that's not great from a numbers standpoint when you look at the scholarship count. It's not a major problem if all those true frosh are ready to roll right away, and a couple walk-ons step up. But the bottom line is NU could have taken 5 WRs in this class and it wouldn't have been overkill at all.
@FargoHusker: Can't speak on Donte Williams, but they just paid him handsomely and that has to mean something to him. And Keith Williams I expect to stay for a while, for a variety of reasons, including his son is a junior. Also, if you go beyond football, Riley stayed by him after his off-the-field mistake so I'm sure that means plenty to him.
@jw: I think Blades jumps on board. And then ... I don't know. That might be it. Maybe there's one more surprise. I'm still watching to see what Tony Wallace does for sure. I don't believe Onyemaobi ends up here. Think he goes to TCU.
@FargoHusker: I don't know completely. Just don't think it's happening from what I hear.
@lredeugene: I'll watch like the rest of you but I think those boys are going to USC.
