Keep the comments coming. I know there's a bunch of people in here.
@TheFunk: I heard some good vibes from a person I trust yesterday, but then late last night, a reporter in Pittsburgh was reporting he'd been told it was between Pitt and Louisville. At that point in the game, you just kind of throw your hands up and say, 'Let's see what the kid says.'
@jimfromchina: After his recruitment, I'd say there's a chance of anything still with him. Until he puts his name to paper, I'm not counting it over. But.... I got the impression as of early last night to not expect it.
@Bignick33: Interesting way to phrase it, but I'll stick with the idea Damion Daniels is the perfect guy to try to mold as a nose in a 3-4 defense, so I'll say him. I think Daniels and Blades are both going to pick NU, and I think Husker coaches could use that, especially if Thomas and Calvin are out. I think the excitement of the two new additions and perhaps a surprise somewhere else could offset those losses today with much of the fan base.
@TheFunk: I always wish kids the best, and I don't know his full story, but if he switches back from something he said publicly Friday, after already having a big display a few weeks before, it's a bad look no matter how old you are.
@RocketHusker: My sports editor just brought in some Lamar's actually, so good call by you.
@Barry: Big prediction, but certainly not out of the question, though Patrick O'Brien may want to have a say in that. I like Gebbia a lot. When you interview him, he's got that natural QB way about him where you can understand why kids his age would follow him and want to go work next to him.
@Colby: NU has a lot of hope for Bookie, but you need not worry about him today. He's class of 2018. I think he might announce soon after NSD though for next class, and I wouldn't be shocked if NU is the choice at all.
@JamesWilson: I have not seen that but that doesn't mean it didn't happen. It'd be an early signing by him since it's 5:39 in Cali. If you guys sees something, by all means bring it to this board. I'm going to miss a few things on a day like this one.
Latest signings: Bradley, Austin Allen, Deontre Thomas.
@Bignick33: I really think Blades is Nebraska's. That's an educated guess. That doesn't mean the kid hasn't changed his mind late. We've seen that plenty. But there's a lot of belief in the program he's coming this way. Lenoir -- it's always seemed a tougher get. I think he goes Oregon.
