Hopefully they don't match us up with a defense like LSU, Auburn, or Florida.

Marcus, they still havent. NU isnt a top 10 team.

But blowouts like this happen all the time according to frank

How will Sipple cover this without being critical? I'm going to guess he writes a column about Riley's consistent demeanor, even in the face of this beat down.

TT game and Colorado loss in 01 felt worse. Maybe because I was more surprised. Being Florida in NC game must have really stunk for the

Even though maybe it shouldn't, these games do happen more often to most teams in the last decade. Look at Arkansas last week. Even LSU got hammered a year ago or so. Not Alabama, but almost everyone else. Doesn't make it any better or easier to accept, but just a reality

Louisville hung 70 on Florida State earlier this year. Just sayin . ..

Bottom line is tonight was a nightmare. Only way from this one is up. Just wake up, wash the mud off your face, and move on. Win out, enjoy your bowl and look to a new and talented group next year. Signing off for tonight. Go Big Red forever!!!!!

Riley"came out of the blue". That right there tells me he is clueless and doesnt know what a quality team looks like. Spoken like a .500 coach. But at least he's a nice guy.

Wish I had unl's optimism. We lose 22 seniors off the 2 deep, and this staff has yet to show it can develop players.

With two pick sixes, tommy out, fifty missed tackles, no punts for them and no offense at all for us: I'm surprised it wasn't worse
by JB11/6/2016 4:16:57 AM
The main thing that stands out for me over the last 2 seasons is that this team has a hard time picking up 1 yard. No matter what level of football being played, that shouldnt happen as much as it does for NU.
